Okay here's the deal.
I sat down and listed all of the comic-book adaptations I have ever seen, and wrote a short blurb about what I thought.
I broke it down by DC, Marvel, and everything else. For the Everything else, I only did the English language (American, that is) stuff. Otherwise that list would get way too long.
AND NO ANIME. Not that I have anything against Anime. But that's a whole different ball-game. It is it's own genre and would take far too long to list everthing.
Hopefully you'll all make your own lists. They don't need to be as crazy long as mine. I just wanted to be specific because I'm a giant dork.
Here we go!
Enjoy.
DC:
Live-action Movies:
The 2nd Batman serial and the two Superman serials were good classic, campy fun.
Superman and the Mole Men felt like a longer and cheesier episode of the George Reeves show.
I enjoy the '66 Batman movie.
I love Superman I and II, I like bits and pieces of III and IV.
Supergirl was entertaining, at least.
Swamp Thing was awesome. Though The Return of Swamp Thing was crap.
I love Batman '89, and Returns is good stuff.
Batman Forever is mediocre, and B&R is utter silly campy badness.
Steel was awful.
Catwoman was an abomination!
Superman Returns was decent enough. Nostalgia goes a long way.
Batman Begins was lame. Great supporting cast, and music. The good doesn't go much further.
TDK was good stuff. Had some major week points, but was still impressive.
Watchmen was great, except for a few minor grievences.
V for Vendetta was very well done, and despite the changes it made, I enjoyed it.
Constantine was pretty cool. If you ignore all the changes to the material. Unfaithful to the overall comics, captured the gritty feel, and was still entertaining.
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen sucked.
The Spirit was an utterly blasphemous catastrophe that needs to not exist!
The Losers was pretty friggin' fun. The the villain "Max" ruined nearly every scene he was in.
Animated Ones:
Love the 40s Fleischer Superman Cartoons.
Batman: MotP is amazing.
Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero was pretty damn good.
Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman was lousy, though the fight with Bane was worth it. And the short film 'Chase Me' that came with it was great.
Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker was awesome.
Superman: Brainiac Attacks had some good action, but overall it sucked.
Superman: Doomsday is pretty good.
Justice League New Frontier is outstanding.
Batman Gotham Knight was decent. I loved half of the short films.
Wonder Woman was downright incredible.
Green Lantern First Flight rocked my socks.
Superman/Batman: Public Enemies was pretty good.
The Batman Vs Dracula was servicable, silly, but fun. I liked it.
Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths was absolutely awesome.
Batman: Under the Red Hood is one of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
Superman/Batman: Apocalypse was friggin' superb. Supergirl and Krypto FTW!
All-Star Superman was a well-written, fun, and touching work of art.
I haven't seen Green Lantern: Emerald Knights yet, and I'm thoroughly excited for Batman: Year One, Justice League: Doom, and Superman Vs The Elite!
TV Shows:
Love Batman TAS and Superman TAS.
I enjoyed ALL of the Superfriends shows when I was younger. Enjoy making fun of the camp now.
I enjoyed the George Reeves Superman and Adam West Batman.
I like Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman for all its ham and cheese glory.
Loved the old 60s and 70s Batman cartoons.
I absolutely adore The Batman, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
I can't stand Smallville.
I enjoy Teen Titans.
I liked Static Shock, and The Zeta Project a lot!
I liked Batman Beyond quite a bit.
I enjoyed the storyline for Justice League/Unlimited, but HATE the artstyle.
Birds of Prey, I liked the premise, but I felt the show needed a better budget to achieve what it was aiming for. All in all I felt it fell short.
The Flash; Campy but dark. I loved it. Elfman’s theme was great, and I loved the look and portrayal.
Can't wait to see the new Green Lantern show, the new Batman show, and whatever else might be on the way.
I think that about covers all that I've seen.
MARVEL:
Movies:
Howard the Duck, was... well Howard the Duck. LOL.
I like the original Punisher movie a lot
Hate the Tom Jane Punisher, and sort of enjoy the new one Punisher: War Zone.
I liked Blade, and hated Blade 2 and somewhat tolerate Blade Trinity.
I love the the first X-Men and enjoy half of X2, and tolerate X-Men 3 and liked most of X-Men: Origins: Wolveine. Love all the scenes with Magneto in X-Men First Class, but hate the rest of that movie.
I like Spiderman 1 and most of 2, and enjoyed a few parts of 3.
I like some of the acting, and a bit of Ang Lee's Hulk
Loved The Incredible Hulk.
Hated Daredevil, even the director's cut.
Hated Elektra even more.
Despite what anyone might have to argue, I really enjoyed Fantastic Four and most of FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
Not a fan of the 90s unofficially released Fantastic Four movie.
Ghost Rider: That movie rocked! I felt it was a pretty decent adaptation of the comics too.
Peter Fonda as Mephisto was great! Any haters wanna argue, feel free to get shot down.
LOVED Iron Man. Liked almost all of Iron Man 2.
Thor was utterly fantastic in every way.
Captain America kicked all kinds of nostalgic ass!
Can't wait for The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers! So excited!
Animated ones:
Liked Ultimate Avengers and kinda liked Avengers 2.
Loved every second of Next Avengers.
Disliked Invincible Iron Man,
and Doctor Strange was mediocre.
Loved Hulk Vs.
Planet Hulk was amazing!
Thor: Tales of Asgard was kick-ass.
TV movies:
I liked Generation X.
I enjoyed the made-for-TV Incredible Hulk movies.
And let's not talk about the mediocre live-action Spider-Man TV-Pilot-Movie.
TV shows:
I love X-Men, Pryde of the X-Men, X-Men Evolution, and Wolverine and the X-Men.
I loved Spider-Man (all the animated ones) mildly enjoy the mediocre live-action Spider-Man.
Loved The Incredible Hulk (all shows, live action and animated).
Didn't like the 90s Avengers.
The Silver Surfer cartoon rocked.
The 90s Fantastic Four (mostly Season 2) and new Fantastic Four cartoons were good.
Don't really like Iron-Man's animated show, aside from the animation, and the intro to season 2.
the new Iron-Man: Armored Adventures has a neat artstyle, and good writing, but overall it’s mediocre.
I’m rather enjoying Marvel Super Hero Squad.
I abso-friggin-lutely love Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
Can't wait for season 2.
Can't wait for the Hulk: Agents of SMASH TV Show, and the new Ultimate Spider-Man TV Show.
I think I covered everthing I've seen.
Other (Non- Marvel/DC) comics. (English-speaking first):
AVP and AVP:R were mediocre. Nowhere up to the standard of the original movies that started it, or the comics/games/books, that followed but they were still decent and entertaining.
Archie (the old cartoon and 'Weird Mysteries') was pretty fun stuff.
Barbwire... hahaha! Pam Anderson + huge Casablanca rip-off set in an apocalyptic sci-fi.
The Crow was AMAZING!
The Crow: City of Angels is pretty decent if you ever find anything on the Directors Cut. And the other 2 (Salvation and Wicked Prayer) range from mediocre to lousy.
The Crow: Stairway to Heaven TV show was okay, mostly.
Dick Tracy: Was a great adaptation, until the twist ending. But still! What a great friggin' movie!
And the B&W Dick Tracy classics and serials were cool too.
So was the Dick Tracy animated show.
From Hell... while it had an interesting premise, and was well acted, was lousy. (Didn’t care for the comic either).
Ghost World was crazy, but very interesting.
I love both 'Heavy Metal' and Heavy Metal 2000 I really do.
The Hell Boy live-action movie and Hell Boy 2: The Golden Army and Hell Boy animated movies were tight.
Judge Dredd.... haha. Despite being campy and weird, and only kind of like the comic, I still enjoy it.
The Mask, was awesome. Not much of anything like the comic though.
Don't know what to say about Son of the Mask. hehe.
The Mask: The Animated Series... see my thoughts on the first film.
Men In Black I and II, were entertaining. The first one was way better. Both of them left out a ton of stuff from the comics.
The Men In Black animated series was pretty cool for the most part.
Monkey Bone was fun. I know nothing of the comic book though
Mystery Men was fun. I know nothing of the comic version unfortunately.
Red Sonja... wow.. just wow. What the crap? Not even gonna talk about it.
I liked the Richie Rich cartoon, growing up;
I liked the Richie Rich movies as a kid too.
The Rocketeer is AWESOME!
Sabrina The Teenage Witch was such a fun show, live-action and animated, and a fun movie. Don't be hatin'. lol.
Sin City was fantastic in every possible way.
300 was pretty good. But the few tiny changes they made, were so unnecessary that they pissed me off to the point that I don't like the movie that much anymore.
Spawn, the movie was cool. I don't care who disagrees with me. And the animated mini-series was even cooler!
Surrogates: An awesomely amazing wonderful movie. It only altered one aspect of the comic, but it wasn't detrimental, and was still just as good as the original material.
Tales from the Crypt. The series, cartoon, Demon Knight, and Bordello of Blood, were all friggin sweet. Never saw Ritual. But the old 60s/70s movies were awesome too.
Tank Girl.. is well... Tank Girl. Yeah. That'll do. lol.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES!!! The first movie is SPECTACULAR! The TMNT II: Secret of the Ooze and III movies were mediocre. TMNT was pretty darn good.
I loved the old TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES cartoon (though nothing like the comic). I loved the Rock Concert/Musical, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: Comin’ Out of Our Shells as a kid.
The new TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES cartoon was great until they made Shredder an alien. The live-action TMNT: The Next Mutation show was bizarre. 'Turtles Forever' was pretty good, watch the director's cut if you can.
Timecop! Fun movie. Never saw the sequel. Wasn't there a TV Show?
Vampirella. Haha. What a bad, but fun to watch movie.
Wanted..... was cool as hell, if you pretend there is no comic.
Dennis the Menace, the cartoons rocked. The live-action movies are fun family movies.
Duck Tales, thats right Duck Tales, was fun stuff. So was the movie.
Duckman! That show rocked!! Hilarious!
Flash Gordon. Cheesy campy fun movie. Not great or groundbreaking, or award winning. But friggin good times! Not familiar with the old serials. Defenders of the Earth was cool.
The Tick! Outrageous fun. And so stupid, yet so great! The animated and live-action shows rocked.
TinTin! I loved the cartoons. Eagerly awaiting Spielbergs movie.
The Phantom! I loved the ‘96 movie.
I loved the cartoon Phantom 2040. I even loved his role on Defenders of the Earth.
I think I've covered all the Comic-Book adaptations I've ever seen.

Aquaman
I'll be coming back to this, most likely, once I get my thoughts in order.
Aquaman has had a pretty bad rep, for the last few decades.
And most of the blame falls on the old Superfriends show for making him rather useless.
But a lot of the current blame, I think falls on 3 parties.
Family Guy and Robot Chicken (though I do love Robot Chicken) and the people that see these parodies and don't bother looking at the actual character before forming an opinion.
Thankfully, the show Batman: The Brave and The Bold has done a lot to make Aquaman cool again.
Aquaman has beaten Superman in a one on one fight, without the use of Kryptonite.
And Superman has backed down from a fight with Aquaman on occasion.
And he's beaten Wonder Woman in a fight as well.
And in Aquaman no.29, he beat Martian Manhunter, who was posing as Superman.
He beat Deathstroke (not impressive, considering he's human), while blind (impressive).
The second Aquaman nearly killed Superman, and Batman had to rescue him.
Pretty sure its "For Tomorrow" where Supes actually runs away from a fight with Aquaman.
He can operate at super-human levels while under 16,000psi.
He can swim at approx. 1.75 miles per second, at top speed.
Some sources say he can lift approx. 2 tons, though others report that on average he can lift about 60 tons, but at maximum strength (i.e. maximum hydration) he can lift approx. 10,000 tons.
And has been shown moving an oil rig (not sure how much it weighed but Rigs usually range from 38 - 20,000 tons).
He's been shown throwing a tank (approx 25 tons). He's also been shown lifting a city block.
And at one point his telepathy evolved to allow him to control any creature related to sea-life (i.e. Seagulls) and creatures evolved from sea-life.
Also, his telepathy, which works on more things than fish and was even powerful enough to get into Martian Manhunter's mind undetected.
Just setting the record straight.
